Energy Transportation Inc. has added one more facet to its extensive list of services with the opening of our rail siding in Casper, Wyoming. Throughout the years, Energy Transportation has utilized rail services to receive equipment and components from almost every aspect of the energy industry. At the ground breaking ceremony,Dan McGlade, President of Energy Transportation, commented on the rail siding.

"We are now able to provide in-house solutions from source to installation, increasing Energy Transportation's ability to be our client's one call service provider," said McGlade.

Whether it's transformers headed to sub-stations, dehydtrators on their way to a refinery, or wind tower components to be stored for next year's project, Energy Transportation can utilize this new facility to better serve our customer base. Jim Orr, Director of Operations of Energy Transportation said the site offers complete services.

"With many companies in the energy industry moving their products via rail, this site allows us to provide complete services from offload and storage to 'last mile' transportation," said Orr.

The Casper rail siding is located in the CTran rail facility, which contains over 11,000 feet of switch yard track, a site locomotive, and expandable acreage depending upon demand. With the central location of the facility, Energy Transportation is able to provide a turnkey solution to all players in the energy industry.
