Our scope was to receive and set (10) modules with weights ranging from 77,000 lbs to 115,000 lbs. The project took place in the south plant within Western Refinery in El Paso, TX. The location in which the modules needed to be set had a live pipe-rack / cable tray running above it, which could not be removed. This required us to utilize our sliding rails along with a 275 ton all-terrain machine, a 90 ton rough terrain machine, and a forklift to push the modules down the rails and into position. When lifting the modules with a single crane, we utilized rolling blocks to ensure that the loads were picked level. The highway tractor / trailer combinations could not make some of the sharp turns within the plant, so we provided our tote tractor to bring the loads into the unit. It took (3)10 hour days to set all 10 modules.
